Nitish Kumar re-elected leader of JD(U) legislature Party in Bihar Assembly

Patna, Nov 19 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was unanimously elected as the leader of the JD(U) legislature party in the state assembly on Wednesday.
The decision was taken during a meeting of all newly elected JD(U) MLAs at 1 Anne Marg, the official residence of the Chief Minister. Party leaders congratulated Kumar on the landslide victory of the JD(U) and the NDA as a whole, and expressed their gratitude to the people of Bihar for entrusting the alliance with another term in office.
Meanwhile, newly elected BJP MLAs are holding a separate meeting at the party’s state headquarters to elect their legislature party leader. Additionally, a joint meeting of newly elected MLAs from all NDA constituents will be held in the Central Hall of the Bihar Assembly to elect the leader of the NDA legislature party.
